Ed Hardy Perfumes and Colognes: Tattoo Art of Fragrances
Christian Audigier is known for his huge celebrity following in LA. He’s a French fashion designer, entrepreneur and a trend-setter in Hollywood. Paris Hilton, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Michael Jackson are some of the celebrities who have worn his label. Among the multitude of licensing agreements he has with business partners, the Ed Hardy line is by far the most popular. Ed Hardy is considered the godfather of tattoo art and Audigier has the exclusive rights to distribute products under the Ed Hardy label.
In 2008, the Ed Hardy fragrance line debuted in the market. It was a successful launch because on that year alone, the Ed Hardy Perfume for Women and the Ed Hardy Cologne for Men ranked as the top selling perfumes, according to market research group, NPD. After the success of the ED Hardy perfumes, Love and Luck Perfume and Cologne quickly followed.
The Ed Hardy fragrances are a playful mix of the floral-fruity and oriental-gourmand notes.
Ed Hardy Perfume for Women is an overload of rich-vanilla sweetness topped with succulent mangoes from the tropics. The spiciness of the amber and leather notes complement the sweetness of the scent that dominates at the beginning of the fragrance. From mangoes to oranges, that’s the Ed Hardy Cologne for Men. The opening notes introduce a zesty blend of mandarin blossoms then after an hour or so, luscious amber and vanilla unfolds in the dry down.
Ed Hardy Love & Luck Women’s Fragrance is an interesting blend of fruits and spices. It’s sugar-coated sweetness with a tinge of spicy peppercorns. The scent is enhanced by essential oils from the Japanese sake wine which brings out that distinct cotton-candy flavored aroma. After a healthy dose of sweetness, the musk undertone follows. Ed Hardy Love & Luck Cologne for Men is a bold and dynamic scent. The fragrance reminds you of the loud parties in the city. It conveys vivid memories of the modern day city life.
